He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Wiest and Alice Wiest (Alveshere). He is survived by: his sister Judy; his brother-in-law Joel Wack of Bismarck; his niece Michelle Dittus (Eric) of Bismarck; and his great-niece Alissa Dittus.
