He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Grosz and Eva Grosz (Uhlich); his siblings, Lorraine Blumhagen and Clifford; and his brother-in-law Rudy Blumhagen.
He is survived by: his aunts, Helen Rieniets of Bismarck and Maxine Uhlich of Minot; and his sibling's children, Curtis Grosz and Brenda Grosz Heitkamp. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
