He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene; his parents, William and Sophie; his brothers, Clifford and Virl; and his sister-in-law Jean.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Dodds (Art), Nancy Martinez (Joe), Gerald William Berndt and Linda Albrecht (Tony); his brothers, Bartlett Berndt of Rapid City, SD and Oria Berndt (Sadie) of Tacoma, WA; and his sister-in-law Beata Berndt of Portland, OR. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to JRMC Hospice, 2422 20th St. SW, Jamestown 58401.
