We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2021, at the age of 78, Barbara Walters of Lamoure, North Dakota, born in Marion, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Peterson and Gertrude Peterson (Miller); her brothers-in-law, Myron Bachynski and William Walters; her stepson Richard Edward Walters; and her nephews, Steven and Gregory Bachynski.

She is survived by : her husband Richard Walters; her siblings, Lois Bachynski and Donald Peterson (Julie); her nieces, Cassie Edwardson (Jason) and Amy Potts (Brian); her nephew Lenny Peterson; and her stepchildren, Alan Walters (Laura), Rebecca Russell (Joe), David Walters (Sharen) and Diana McElheney (John). She is also survived by 12 step grandchildren and 18 step great-grandchildren.
