She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Frank Joseph Meier and Catherina Meier (Fischer); her husband John SW Steen; her daughter Pauline; her stepfather Eugene Reimer; her daughters, Diane Steen (Larry Lathrop) and Susan (Randy Christiansen); her grandchildren, Kiley Cintron (Kallberg) of Minot, ND, Jayme Ogden (Joe Ogden), John Christiansen, Shane and EmmaLee Christiansen; her great grandchildren, Alek Ogden of Los Lunas, NM and Freya Christiansen; her sister-in-law Ruth Sandwick of Linton, ND; her niece Karen Anderson of Kenosha, WI; her friend Lee Ann Lipp Brandner of Bismarck, ND.; and her sisters, Margaret Lorey, Victoria Larsen and Ann McAlister. She was also cherished by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Celebrating the Life of Pauline: (due to the Coronavirus Pandemic) A Memorial Service for Pauline will be scheduled this summer in Minot, ND, and she will be laid to rest at the Linton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Legion Auxiliary Post #54, P.O. BOX 272, Linton, ND, 58552.
