He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thomason and Helen Thomason (Koloff); and his son Paul Thomason. He is survived by: his wife Mary Thomason; his children, Michael Thomason (Pamela), Tara Thomason (Jeremiah Simpson) and Patti Ganje (Rodney); his grandchildren, Kristen Thomason-Wilson (Reno), Kaitlyn Myers (Jena McIntyre), Jonathan Thomason (Cassandra Lemere), Andrew Myers, Genna Myers, Blake Simpson and Tynan Simpson; his great grandchildren, Lorelei Bucknall and Mina Thomason; and his siblings, Mark Thomason (Barbara) of Park Rapids, MN, Norma Rodland (Carl) and Leellen Thomason (Jack Gabriel). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
