Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mavis Strinden of Litchville, North Dakota, born in Valley City, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 97, on October 20, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Obert Nordgaard and Ellen Nordgaard (Rodin); her husband Theron L. Strinden; and her siblings, Evelyn Bartz (Ralph) and Marvin Nordgaard (Marjorie).
She is survived by: her children, Marna Ramnath (Suresh) and Steven (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Maia, Monica Ramnath, Marie Jensen (Nick) and Michael Strinden (Leah); her great grandchild Miriam Adventure Jensen; and her sister Marilyn Kristensen (Luther). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In this age of the COVID pandemic, a private family ceremony will be held in Litchville Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to First Lutheran Church, Litchville or the Litchville Museum and Historical Society.
