With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Althea Kessel (Mandan, North Dakota), who passed away on September 7, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Suchy and Nettie Suchy (Kinney); her husband Wilmont Tausend (Will); her brothers, Donald Suchy, Dale Suchy and Joe Elliot; her daughter Laureen; her son-in-law Robert Morrissey; and her grandchild Terrel Tausend.
She is survived by: her former husband Richard J. Kessel of Belfield, ND; her sister-in-law Fern Engesser of Rapid City, SD; her brother Fred Elliot; her sons, Wes Tausend (Linda) of Bismarck and Monte Tausend (Linnie) of Lincoln; and her daughter-in-law Connie Tausend. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and six step-daughters.
