Caroline Schaff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Caroline Schaff (Mandan, North Dakota), who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip F. Barth and Katherine Barth (Leingang); her husband Bill; her sons, Willard and Cletus; her grandson Floyd Schafer, Jr.; her son-in-law James Bartlett; and her siblings, Tony, Benno, Francis, Betty Steckler, Christine Koch and Margaret Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Victor (Susan), Vernon (Nettie), Harold (Cheryl), Sherry Schaff Sommer (Jason) of Solvang, CA, Annette Bartlett (James) of Los Angeles, CA and Betty Nell Schafer (Floyd) of Rapid City, SD; and her sisters, Irene Ferderer and Esther Hilfer-Erhardt. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
