She was predeceased by: her father Matt Baron; and her husband Galen Popelka. She is survived by: her children, Angela Popelka of Springfield, VA, Matthew and Nick Popelka (Natalie); her mother Peggy Baron (Taghon); and her siblings, Laurie (Bob), Beth, Rick and Mike Baron. She is also survived by her sons and daughter.
It was Colleen's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Miles of Love Dog Rescue or Central Dakota Humane Society.
