He was predeceased by: his brother Adam Pulkrabek; and his grandparents, Donald, Arlene Pulkrabek, Fred and Ann Ripplinger.

He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Sr. Pulkrabek and Margie Pulkrabek (Ripplinger); his son Valin Pulkrabek of Hastings, MN; his significant other Thersea "Happy" Nelson; and his stepson Terrance Strand.
