He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Ripplinger and Rofena Ripplinger; and his brothers, Alvin and Clarence. He is survived by: his wife Josephine of Mandan; his children, Kim Zachmeier (Scott), Kent Ripplinger (Kelly) and Kaye Ripplinger; his grandchildren, Kyle Zachmeier (Heather), Kristie Kirchmeier (Garrett), Austin, Lexi Vogel, Alex Ripplinger, Gregory Fencik, Jessica and Kaden Dragun; his siblings, Loretta Riehl (Steven), Bismarck Ripplinger, Ervin Ripplinger (Janet) and Flasher; his sister-in-law Marilyn Ripplinger of Bismarck; and his friend Arlo Unterseher. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Christ the King Catholic School or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
