She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hoffmann and Amanda Hoffmann (Wegener); her husband Henry Backsen; and her brother Harold Hoffmann. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Baier (Dennis) and Sue Ziemann (Allan); her grandchildren, Brenda Allan (Scott), Rebecca Olson (Rob), Bob Baier (Mariah), Matthew and Michael Ziemann; her great grandchildren, Alex, Alyssa, Trevin, Aspen and Malena; and her sister Roberta Wagner (Richard). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
