She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas; her son Wayne; her grandson Thomas Johner; and her sister Mabel Rychlik. She is survived by: her sons, Rodney Knoll (LaVerne) and Keith Knoll (Deb) of Mandan; her sisters-in-law, Helen Knoll and Theresa Leingang; and her pet Little Joe. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central Dakota Humane Society or Farm Rescue.
