It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jace Schmidt (Mandan, North Dakota), who passed away on May 24, 2019, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-uncle Wesley Fisher; his great-grandparent Vivian Fisher; his uncle Deputy Bryan Sleeper; his great-grandparent Gregor Schmidt; and his great-great-grandparents, Clifford and Loretta Fisher.
He is survived by: his grandmother Sandy Salazar (John); his mother Crystal Schmidt (Jason Quam); his sister Kambree; his uncle Joe Schlosser; his cousin Aubree; his uncles, Coleton Schmidt of Mandan and Jeremy Schmidt of Phoenix, AZ; his grandfather Brian Schmidt; his great-grandparents, Gary Fisher and Erna Schmidt of Mandan; and also Sandy. He is also survived by numerous great uncles, great aunts, and cousins.
