He is survived by: his wife Joan Taghon of Mandan; his children, Dave, Laura Helbling (Mark) and Amy Remboldt (Doug); his grandchildren, Kari (Gary), Chad (Brittney), Mitch, Karley, Morgan, Kim and Erin; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Peyton, Makena, Clarke and Finn; and his sister Fern.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Memory of John.
