She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Helm and Lydia Helm (Schaeffer); her husband Richard A. "Dick" Knapp; her siblings, Alvina Krueger, Adeline Hornbacher, Olivia Nigrin, Wilma Matties, Patricia Schmitke, Ervin and Ardell Helm; and her sister-in-law Gertie Helm.
She is survived by: her daughter Janeen K. Knapp; her grandson Travis Lee Knapp of Moorhead, MN; her son Brian Dean Knapp (Carol); her sister Elaine Neff; her sister-in-law Janice Helm; and her close friend Cash Dietz. She is also survived by two step-granddaughters and one step-grandson.
