He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Keidel and Emma Keidel (Timm); his former wife Viola; his grandson Dylan Lloyd Sommer; and his stepdaughter Jenifer Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Keidel of Mandan; his daughters, Lori Fisher (Robin), Mandan Sommer and Donna Sommer (Lynn); his stepsons, Timothy Larsen (Marilyn) of Sumner, WA and Terrance Larsen (Paula); his stepson-in-law LaVern Hanson of Bismarck; his grandchildren, Madison Sommer, Cassidy Sommer and Mitchell Fisher; his stepgrandchildren, Chas Larsen (Terra) and Kimberly McGlashan (Andrew); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dylan Larsen and Kiara Larsen; his siblings, Leona Wetsch of Urbandale, IA and Walter Keidel (Leona) of Mandan; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice Beick of Spokane, WA, Alvin Scheid, Hazen Munson and Harry Munson (Vicki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
