She was predeceased by: her parent Clementine Geiger (Barnhardt); her husband John; and her siblings, Frank, Matt, Jerome, Beada, Rose and Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Schafer (Connie), Dennis Schafer (Jolene) and Karen Nuss (Don) of Mandan; her grandchildren, Brian Schafer (Pam), Brad Schafer (Sharyl), Brent Schafer, Brandon Schafer, Jason Schafer (Tammy), Shanon Gerding (Steve), Theresa Meidinger (Casey), Kristin Nuss, Heather Lindsley (Jerry) and Christopher Nuss (Sarah); her siblings, John Geiger (Fran) and Justine Fleck of Tacoma, WA; and her siblings-in-law, Cecilia Geiger, Ellen Schafer and Clem Schafer (Betty). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
