With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard O. Flurer (Mandan, North Dakota), who passed away on December 3, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, German and Carl; and his brother Paul Flurer. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his daughters, Nancy Light of Breezy Point, MN, Laura Zabel (Todd) and Fargo; his grandchildren, Hannah, Daniel Richard Light, Alyssa and Kai Richard Zabel; his sister Elizabeth Love of Minot, ND; his sibling's children, Robert Flurer, Tim, Tom, Jeff Love, Nancy Bjerke, Marty Peterson and Janet Graalum; and his children, North Rocky Point Drive of Tampa, FL and Episcopal Church of Bismarck.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2900 North Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607, St. George's Episcopal Church of Bismarck, the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
