With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Wheeler (Mandan, North Dakota), born in Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Vogel (Wanner) and Anton Vogel; her husband Dwight Wheeler; her son Scott Wheeler; and her brother Larry Vogel.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Dahle (Aaron), Greg Wheeler (Toni Massey-Wheeler) and Garry Wheeler (Eliza); her daughter-in-law Tammy Wheeler; her grandchildren, Esben Dahle, Anthony Wheeler, Jess Wheeler, Sheila Wheeler, Scout Wheeler and Pip Wheeler; her great grandchild Helena Wheeler; and her siblings, Debbie Hernandez (John), Mark Vogel (Donna), Addy Ginter (Bob), Karla Fuehrer and Deana Vogel-Goodman (Howard). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DaWise-Perry Funeral Services (4211 Old Red Trail, Mandan, ND 58554). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Catholic Church of the Ascension (1825 S 3rd St, Bismarck, ND 58504). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
