He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schroeder and Lena Schroeder (Nienas). He is survived by: his wife Mae Schroeder of Mayville, ND; his children, Mike Schroeder (Rhea) of Davenport Fl, Gregory Schroeder of Kissimmee, FL, Randy Schroeder of San Francisco, CA and Loran Schroeder of Baxter, MN; his grandchildren, Eryn, Bryann, Andrew and Jayce; and his great grandchild Nikko.
