She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Mahlen (Vannatta) and Joel Mahlen; her husband Archie "Kennard" Byre; her brother Ralph; her brother-in-law Gerald Neshem; and also, Ruthie, Leonard Rauschenberger, Evelyn, Bill Rauschenberger, Phyllis Braaten, Jenny, Andy Eshenko and Walter Hagen.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Vollmer (Mark) of Minot, Archie Byre Jr. of Maxbass, Royal Byre (Renae) of Burlington, ND, Everett Byre (MiSuk) of Lewisville, TX and Eric Byre (Kimberly) of Stephen, MN.; her siblings, Eunice Neshem, Joann Picard (Paul), Donna Elkins (Gib) and Joe Mahlen (Melody); and her siblings-in-law, Eileen Mahlen, Marlene Muse (Dick), Ronald Byre (Karen) and Gordon Braaten. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
