He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Kolb and Allie L. Kolb (Coleman); his stepmother Irene Kolb; his half-sister Vanessa Kolb; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry and Richard Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Sullivan of Velva, ND.; his children, Kelly Thom (David) of Surrey and Michael Kolb (Tracy Vigness) of Bismarck; his grandchildren, Erik Kolb, Evan Hobbs and McKayla Kolb; his stepgranddaughters, Jessie Shepherd (Anthony) and Elizabeth Thom; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Brynn, Kinley and Lainey Shepherd; his sister Elizabeth Kelley (Robert); and his half-sister Marcia Kolb of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
