He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb Brandt and Elizabeth Brandt (Pfau); and his siblings, Arthur Brandt (Grace), Albert Brandt (Ruth), Herbert Brandt, Emma Hamblin, Adeline Halvorson, Martha Stebner, Alma Sessler and Gertrude Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice; his children, Allen Brandt of Waubun, MN, Lynnette Glaspie (Steve) and Sherri Olsen (Harold); his grandchildren, Dion Brandt (Lisa), Dale Brandt (Deb), Layne Brandt (Dawn), Joel Olsen, Jay Olsen (Ashley), Julia Amiot (Alex), Kaylin Bromley (Michael), Ashley Glaspie and Arielle Glaspie; his great grandchildren, Parker Brandt, Dacotah Brandt, Hunter Brandt, Everett, Emersen Olsen, Hudson, Phaedra, Ephraim Amiot, Dannalee and Marshall Kennedy; and his great great grandchildren, Raelynn, Milo Myles and Beau Kennedy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family encourages those attending to wear masks and social distance.
