He is survived by: his children, Lynda Bertsch, Douglas Bertsch (Patty), Diane Lillemon (David) and Cheryl Merck (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jacob Merck, Justin Merck, Katie Lillemon, Jared Lillemon and Jordyn Bertsch; his sister Catherine Holzer; and his sisters-in-law, Franny Bertsch, Janet Bertsch and Frances Ziegler. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
