He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Rennich; and his father-in-law George Rennich. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Palen and Karen Palen (Hurlbert) of Bismarck; his sister Wendy Bohrer (Robert); his nieces and nephews, Dalton Bohrer (Nicole), Dawson Bohrer and Delaney Bohrer; his great-niece Addison Bohrer of Mandan; and his mother-in-law Kathleen Lanz. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, aunts and uncles.
