Duane C Baumgartner Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane C Baumgartner of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Baumgartner and Hazel Baumgartner (Ness); his siblings, Marvin Baumgartner, Ron Baumgartner (Lou) and Bev Marum (Marvin); and his father-in-law Lawrence Lies (Emma).
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Lies; his children, Jamie Baumgartner (Carrie) of Moorhead, MN and Mindy Haugen (Darren) of Stanley, ND; his grandchildren, Owen, Colin, Parker and Bode; his brother Arlyn Baumgartner (Dawn) of Columbia Falls, MT; and his sisters-in-law, Candace Berntson (Gerry), Lori Jepson (Loren), Pam Wilcox (Mike) and Shelly Krebsbach (Doug Stoltz). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Ronald McDonald House.The family plans to hold a boat parade at Rice Lake in the summer of 2021 to celebrate Duane's life.
