Duane L. Butts Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane L. Butts of Minot, North Dakota, born in Maddock, North Dakota, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, C. K. "Eddie" and Edna Butts (Johnson); his daughter Kathy Ova; and his siblings, Kermith "Bud", Marvin Butts and Mavis Forde.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gerrells; his sons, Kenneth Butts (Jennifer) of Littleton, CO and Stephen Butts (Nadine) of Bismarck; his son-in-law Donnell Ova of Sawyer; his grandchildren, Makenna, Kaden, Lucas, Anika, Marcus Butts, David Fix (McCall) and Kali Ova; his great grandchildren, Deegan Fix and Lucee Hancock; and his sisters, Joan Neirby of Renton Washington and Erlys Nordberg of Mesa, Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
