She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Vangsness and Anna Vangsness (Hagen); her husband Lyle Opland; her daughter Michelle Ann Opland; and her siblings, Irene Toops, Alice Anderson, Mabel Erickson, Arthur, Martin, Elmer and Glen Vangsness.
She is survived by: her children, Craig Opland (Wanda) of Pelican Rapids, MN, Gordon Opland (Sharon) of The Colony, Mark Opland (Jackie) of Des Lacs and Korey Opland of Minneapolis; her grandchildren, Carisa, Dawnetta, Damon, Dain, Dirk, Eric, Pamela, Alyssa, Heidi, Rachel and Matthew; her sister Verna Nelson of Bellevue, WA; and her sisters-in-law, Nellie Vangsness of Fargo, Ethel Vangsness of Minot and Donna Vangsness of Minot. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
