He was predeceased by: his parents, William Morey and Ethel Morey (Jack); his grandson Ryan Morey; his brother Jim Morey; and his brother-in-law Delvin Laukala.
He is survived by: his former spouse Ardith Lindlauf; his wife Ardy; his son Mike Morey (Carolyn) of Velva; his grandchildren, Nathan Morey (Hilary), Devin Morey and Michael Morey (Tina); his daughter Cindy Vallely (John); his grandchildren, Sarah Baso (Adam) and Josh Vallely (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Henry Morey, Gavin, Hudson Lillemon, Ryan Morey, Elise, Mira Baso, Lauren, Addison and Jacob Vallely; his sister Beverly Laukala of Auburn, WA; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Morey of Minot and Ronald Lindlauf (Karen) of Glastonbury, CT. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
