He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Auton and Marjorie Auton (Munden). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Roth of Indiana, Amanda Christensen (Thomas) of Idaho and James S. Auton (Jennifer) of Morganton, NC; his sisters, Janet Burga (Wilfreda) of Georgia and Donnie Auton of Georgia; his close friend Ruth Butterfield; and also, Tammy Zeltinger (Tony), Adam Butterfield (Michelle) and Cheryl Haugerud. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
