He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Bakken and Nora Bakken (Larson); his brother Robert Bakken; his niece Sharon; and his siblings-in-law, Odeen Tufto, Arthur Vangsness, Lane Jacobson and Mary Abrahamson (Roy).
He is survived by: his wife Marvel Jacobson; his children, Danae Anderson (David) and Jason Bakken (Lori Sacchetti) of Hastings, MN; his sisters, LuVerne Tufto of Plymouth, MN and Ethel Vangsness; and his siblings-in-law, Audrey Jacobson, Roger Jacobson (Karen), Stanton and David Jacobson (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
