He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mickelson and Therisa Mickelson (Franklin); his sisters, Marlene Mickelson and Jolene Bjelland; his brothers-in-law, Ron Endsley and Elvin Erickson; his parents-in-law, Lorne Hammer and Deloris Hammer; and his pets, Toby, Duke and Harley.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Mae "Dolly" Hammer; his sons, Tom Mickelson of Minot and Todd Mickelson (Annette) of Minot; his grandchildren, Connor and Mya Mickelson; his sisters, Barbara Wenger (Vern) of Minot, Betty Erickson of Minot, Shirley Dassenko (Pete) of Minot and Gloria Endsley of Minot; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Bjelland of Kalispell, MT, Craig Hammer (Michele), Carol Huber (Corrie), Connie Vetter, Carlene Grenstiener (Jim) and Cindy Fredriksen (Whitey). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
