He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his parents, Michael Doherty and Florence Doherty; and his sister Margaret Law. He is survived by: his friend Jack; his children, Nick of Waterford, Lynne of Minot and Margaret Doherty of South Bend, Indiana; and his siblings, Frank Doherty of Phoenix and Ellen Hordan of Las Vegas, Nevada.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
