She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Neil Whitty; her children, Diana Olson of Minot, Wayne Whitty (Darla) of Minot and Kevin Whitty of Minot; her parents, Clarence Hammond and Anna Hammond; her grandchildren, Janna McKechnie (Aaron) of Minot, Casey Olson (MacKenzie) of Minot, Kylee Geer (Josh) of Minot, Jesseca Hopp (Brian), Karsan McGillicuddy (Jeff Kamedula) and McKinzey Fockler (Aaron); her great grandchildren, Leia, Kailyn McKechnie, Ada, Corby Olson, Lenin, Gwen Geer, Monarch Fockler, Lyric and Bricker McGillicuddy; her cousin Blanche James of Kamloops, B. C.; her brothers, Eugene Hammond and Cleon Hammond; her son-in-law Dick Olson; her grandson Hesston Whitty; and her grandmother Jo's.
Cremation has taken place and because of Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a family service honoring Grandma Jo's life at a later date.
