He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Nick and Frances Giesinger; and his grandson Nathan Tickerhoof. He is survived by: his wife Caroline "Carol" Giesinger; his children, Katrina Richter (Terry) of Bismarck, Lori Tickerhoof (Mike Aschenbrenner) of Minot and Mark Adams (Dawn) of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren, Michael, Nick Tickerhoof (Nikki Jo), Jessica Nelson Sickler (Marcus), Aaron and Emily Nelson; his stepgrandchildren, Van Jones, Danielle (Shawn Brannan), Megan (Chris Miller) and Michael Richter (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Gavyn, Gabriel, Harper, Gracelynn, Aubriana and Camden Tickerhoof; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Michael, Suzzy Leier, Brayden Miller, Bailey and Jack Richter; his parents-in-law, Jerry Giesinger (Pat) and Doug Giesinger (Diana); and also, Mark and Ella Adams (LaFrance).
