He was predeceased by: his siblings, Merle Aftem (Christine), Gloria Arneson and Joanne Dranselka (Melvin); and his sister-in-law Bernadine Givens (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Pfeifer of Orrin, ND; his daughter Kendra Clementich (Mike); his grandchildren, Lexi Clementich and Josh Clementich; and his brother Daniel Aftem (Gwen).
He was active in Disabled American Veterans #4 until COVID restricted meetings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Shriners Hospital for Children and Christ Lutheran Church.
