He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ferguson and Florence Ferguson (Gustafson); his parents-in-law, Les and Val Olson; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Olson, Rodney Olson, Harmon Olson and Henry Groth.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Carole Olson of Minot, ND; his son Daniel Ferguson (Debra "Lil") of Tioga, ND; his grandson Layne Ferguson (Malinda); his great grandchildren, Abagail of Tioga, ND, Harper of Tioga, ND, Audrey of Tioga, ND and Cooper of Tioga, ND; his granddaughter April Eide (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Quincee of Minot, ND and Rhett of Minot, ND; his granddaughter Mindy Cabler (Levi); his great grandchildren, Cady of Williston, ND, Gunner of Williston, ND and Jace of Williston, ND; and his sisters, Shirley Groth of Benson, AZ and Bonnie Haugen (Paul).
In consideration of the North Dakota and CDC COVID-19 guidelines, Lynn's family will celebrate his life with private services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in memory of Lynn to the Beaver Creek Free Lutheran Church, Ray, ND, the Souris Valley Animal Shelter, Minot, ND or the Trinity Hospice Care of Minot, ND.
