It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvel Mae Petrick of Minot, North Dakota, who passed away on October 4, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christy Zieman (Smith) and Ted Zieman; her husband Sanford Petrick; her granddaughter Heidi Petrick; her siblings, Floyd Zieman (Eileen), Dale Zieman (Delores), Lyle Zieman, James Zieman and Marcia Goodwin (Doug); and her brother-in-law Cecil Zahnow.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Borud (Leon), Peggy Dobrinksi (Everett), Steven Petrick (Elaine) and Sheila Flanigan (Russell); her grandchildren, Natalie Borud, Nicole Herzog, Kristen Horkheimer, Darla Churness, Darren Dobrinksi, Jennifer Miller, Amy Gunderson, Katie Hanson and Steven Flanigan; her siblings, Robert Zieman (Shirley), Joan Zahnow and Phyllis Skrainy (Walt); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Zieman and Doris Ann Zieman. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Celebrating the Life of Marvel: Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, A Private Family Funeral by invitation will be held: Friday, October 9, 2020, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Makoti, ND.
