He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Routledge and Verdie Routledge (Wickline); his wife Delores; his son-in-law Bruce B. Rieke; his siblings, Kenneth, Leland, Mervin, Charles, Floyd "Babe" Routledge, Irene McGirr, Ruby Rhoads, Vera Jevne and Louise Perich; his siblings-in-law, Vergil, Albin, Melvin, Orville Dufner, John Weber, William "Bill" Broderick, Lynn Roberts, Fred Poppler, Marcella Weber, Donna Roberts and Evelyn Dufner; and his stepmother-in-law Irene Dufner.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Routledge (Lyla), Wayne Routledge (Kjersti Eide), Eileen Rieke, Darlene Varberg (Jere), Merlin Routledge (Loretta) and Loren Routledge (Sue); his grandchildren, Heather Lopez (Javier), Matthew Routledge (Jennifer), Keegan Eide Routledge, Dustin Rieke (Patsy), Casey Rieke (Melissa), Misti Kovach (Ross), Josey Varberg (Elizabeth), Emily Hieb (Levi), William Routledge, Kyle Routledge, Megan Routledge and Jenna Routledge; his great grandchildren, Rachel, Camden Lopez, Hannah, Sarah, Jonah Routledge, Adelyn Rieke, McCoy Prellwitz, Timber, Meadow Kovach, Evelyn, Joseph, Christopher, Michael Varberg, Liam, Myla and Mataya Hieb; and his sisters-in-law, Vernita Broderick, Loreen Kiskila (Mike), Theresa Bowen, Belleville, Betty Schall (Ed), Emily Dufner, Ava Dufner and Sharen Dufner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Unsong's Assisted Living in Minot.
