He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vencile Charles and Donna Mae Elgie (Stalwick) of Minot, ND; his wife Tammy Gandrud of Minot, ND; his sons, Zachary Charles, Luke Taylor and Zac Elgie (Liz) of Minot, ND; his sisters, Karen Morkve of Minot, ND and Deb Oberholtzer (Jerry); his parents-in-law, Milford and Ona Gandrud of Minot, ND; his siblings-in-law, Tonya Pankow (Dave) of Minot, ND and Todd Gandrud (Connie) of San Marcos, TX; his nieces and nephews, Jeff Oberholtzer (Meg), Daniel Oberholtzer (Rachel), Matt Gandrud, Jill Gandrud, Abby Pankow and Ethan Pankow; and his grandparents, Hilma Elgie, Myrtle and Kelly Stalwick.
Celebrating the Life of Mike: Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, A Private Funeral Service by invitation will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church in Minot. Those attending are required to wear masks and social distance.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minot State University Beaver Boosters or to Magic City Youth Baseball, 1940 S. Broadway #102, Minot, ND, 58701.
