He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Klimpel and Catherine Klimpel (Schmalz); and his daughter Kara Melbarzdis. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Melbarzdis; his daughter Kaiyla; his grandchildren, Kingsley and Kadija; and his siblings, Karen Czaplewski (Thomas), Margo Pflepsen (Neil), William "Bill" Klimpel (Marlys) and Alicia Eisenman (Jerry). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
