She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis "Duffy" and Gertie Wicks (Nerpel); her husband James Harry Kyes; and her siblings, Ella Timlick, Orpha Keil, Lila Mathis, Harold, Jerry and Larry Wicks.
She is survived by: her children, James H Kyes, Jr (Susan) of Duluth, MN and Sally Conner (Gary) of Kalispell, MT; her grandson James Lewis Kyes (Kerri Persons) of Duluth; her great grandchildren, James Alan Kyes, Julia Elizabeth Kyes and Keegan Persons; and her brother Perry Wicks of Stevensville, MT. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
