It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roald Fridtjof Mattson (Minot, North Dakota), who passed away on December 22, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Isak Mattson; his brothers, Alf and Leif; and his mother Julia Mattson (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn June Olsen; his children, Kate Mattson (Pat Stevenson), Steve (Joy) of Minot, Terry (Laura-Lee) of Minot and Mark Mattson of Minot; his grandchildren, Malori, Shelby, Dillon, Luke and Bjorn; and his great grandchild Graham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
