He was predeceased by: his parents, Carver Stevick and Mabel Stevick (Swensrud); and his wife Donna Gjerde. He is survived by: his children, Quentin Stevick (Anne) of Pincher Creek, AB and Coreen Ball (Kirby); his stepgrandson Bryce Ball of Springfield, IL; and his pet Tina.

Memorials in Vern Stevick's memory may be gifted to the foundation at the Des Lacs United Methodist Church or to a charity of the donors' choice.
