He was predeceased by: his father Willis H. Burchett. He is survived by: his mother Anna L. Burchett (Riley); his children, Christopher Burchett, Shawn Burchett and Brandon Burchett; and his siblings, Eva Inches (Dan), Millie Waggoner (Greg), Jim Burchett (Tracy), Stanfield, Adila Gibson and Hermiston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
