It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wendlin Anton Striefel of Minot, North Dakota, born in Anamoose, North Dakota, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Striefel and Genevieve Striefel (Wenninger); and his brothers, Bernard and Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Lila Lorenz; his children, Brian (Anita), Ardin (ChrisAnn) and Holly (Mark Mosser); his grandchildren, Cody (Kelsey), Alyssa (Jeremy), Sean (Shelby), Chelsea, Carson and Blake; his great grandchildren, Jack and Axel; and his sister Marceline Hoaglund. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Wendlin's celebration of life will be postponed due to covid.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorials to the Striefel Memorial Scholarship Endowment at Minot State University where his 3 children attended college.
