She was predeceased by : her parents, Ted Himle and Allie Himle (Baska); and her siblings, Bob Himle, Gordon "Buzzy" Himle, Jeanette Larson, Maurice Himle and Merle Himle.

She is survived by : her husband Ronald S. Aalund; her children, Jeff Aalund (Kathy) of Sherwood, ND, Rhonda McCann (Michael) of Glenshaw, PA, Barbara Sagsveen of Minot, ND, Scott Aalund of Studio City, CA and Bryan Aalund (Kelly) of Hazen Bay, ND; and her siblings, Marlene Heth of Westhope, ND, Don Himle (Judy), Marjorie Steinhaus (Willard) of Westhope, ND and Shirley Conway (Rodney) of Westhope, ND.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

Despite the Covid lockdown, she enjoyed visits from her North Dakota and Pennsylvania family.
