He was predeceased by : his siblings, Myron, Kenny, Merl, Mae Borgers, Vernetta Jensen and Adeline Herrmann.

He is survived by : his wife Eunice Ness; his son Travis Herrmann (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Carson and Riley Held; his siblings-in-law, Julie (Dan) and Virgil Ness (Cynthia) of Ryder; and his brother Dennis Herrmann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
